Controls¶

Controls are used to show or hide elements on the display such as interative elements or images.

Each type or template may vary to what controls are available.

Controls such as download and share may show on hover of the display or in a column on the details list.

Disable Download¶

When enabled the result cannot be downloaded.

Single items can be downloaded using the download icon on the display.

Multiple items can be downloaded, using the selection icon select multiple items and use the download button in the bottom right of the page.

Items will be downloaded to a ZIP file named 'Digital Assets.zip'

Disable Share¶

When enabled results cannot be shared.

Items can be shared using the share modal. Permissions on the result determine who the item can be shared with.

Disable Copy URL¶

When enabled users connot copy the URL of the result.

URL's can be copied using the copy button on the display. When copied the copied to clipboard indicator will show in the bottom right of the screen.

Open in Microsoft Stream¶

When enabled clicking the video will navigate the user to view the video in Microsoft Stream.

When disabled videos will play in a modal.

Show Image Size¶

When enabled the height and width of the image will show in the display.

Hide User Image¶

When enabled the user profile coin will be hidden from the display.

Show A to Z¶

When enabled letters of the alphabet will show below the search bar to allow users to search based on the A to Z properties.

A to Z Properties¶

Set the properties the letter clicked in the A to Z queries against.

• First Name

Hide Presence¶

When enabled the presence icon on the user coin will be hidden.

Hide More Info¶

When enabled the more info icon is hidden from the display.

When clicking the more info icon users are navigated to the M365 profile of the selected user.

Hide Guests¶

When enabled guest users will be removed from the results.

If guests are shown in results an external user icon will be show on the display.

Open PDF's in Browser¶

When enabled when a user opens a PDF the file opens in their built in browser viewer rather than the SharePoint PDF viewer.

Follow Item¶

When enabled users are able to follow the item which can be viewed in their followed items list.

Hide Image¶

When enabled the image/ thumbnail of the result will be hidden from the display.

Show Result Count¶

When enabled the result count for the search will show next to the search bar.

Events Image Override¶

When returning events not all events have a thumbnail, setting the image will set the image for all events in the display.

Export Results¶

This lets you give the ability for users to download all results as a CSV file. This presents as a button that is shown to the right of the search bar, when there are search results available.

You can control who can see this based on the user's permissions on the site:

• Hidden for everyone
• Show only for owners
• Show only for editors
• Show for everyone
