Details List¶
The details list displays results in a list view. Columns can be configured using the template mappings.
Available types: Audio, Content Pages, Documents, Events, List Items, News People, Sites and Videos.

docCentrum installations also have use of the details list.
Each type may vary in what template mappings are available. Display settings in the mappings can control different settings depending on the mapping, e.g. Title font size and font weight. For example, News has Title, Description, User, Date, Views and Tags. But Events has Title, Description, Start Date, End Date, Location, People and Tags. Please see the type for the exact and default mappings.
When using template mappings there will be two extra properties in the template mapping editor.

| Sortable | If the selected property has been configured to be sortable in the SP admin center the column can be sorted when this checkbox is enabled. |
| Column Name | The name for the column, the default will usually be the mapping value. |
Sortable columns are indicated by the sort icon, clicking the column wil sort ascending/ descending by most relevant results.
Note
The property that is selected to be used in the mapping has a type of display. For Example User ususally displays the person coin so the property must be a valid user type.
