My Mercury Configuration

Tenant properties for PanoramSP are shared configuration that all panoramSP webparts will have use of.

Configuration can provide friendly named result sources and filters that give more context to users what the property or source relates to.

For Mercury customers the tenant property configuration can be easily configured in the MyMercury portal.

Content Sources

Content sources are friendly named SharePoint result sources that relate to the type that is being searched for.

When in the webpart configuration if a content source has been added for the selected mode the source dropdown will show the name of the content source in the dropdown along with 'Default'.

Property Description
ID The result source Id from SharePoint.
Name The name of the source, this should indicate to the end user what the content source is.
Description Describe what the source is searching for for content editors.
Type The type the result source relates to
Geo Location The Geo Location the result source is configured in. Only avaiable for multi geo tenants

Filters

Filters are used to allow alias' of complex proeprties used in the SharePoint search admin center for property values in the webpart.

In the filters, query builder and template mappings when 'Advanced' or 'Customer Name' is selected in the configuration type the configured filters will show for the selected mode.

Property Description
ID Unique GUID for the filter.
Name The name of the filter to be displayed to the user.
Alias The alias of the property, this should match what is configured in the SharePoint search config.
Type Which type the filter relates to.
Sortable If the property can be used to sort against.
Data Type The type of filter, depending on selection this displays different options in filters display templates.

Types

Types are the types of content available for the panoramSP webpart to be able to search again.

Types determine what sources, filters and display templates can be used.

In the list of types enable or disable a type, the enabled types will show in the webpart config.

Mercury Customer Status

Setting the mercury customer status provides context to the panoramSP webparts if the configuration has available Mercury properties as part of a Mercury installation.

PanoramSP Customer Name

The customer name is used in place of 'Advanced' when using the configuration types for the configured filters.
